ABOUT
Malte Buchberger
principal consultant
Malte holds a postgraduate degree in music from HfMT Hamburg, Germany and has been awarded a Diploma in Acoustics by the Australasian Association of Acoustical Consultants (AAAC) upon successful completion of the Professional Education in Acoustics Program at UNSW.
With over 18 years of relevant experience, also looking back on extensive first hand experience in teaching, audio engineering and as a professional musician, Malte is uniquely placed to understand clients’ needs and translating them into design criteria.
As a performing musician he has shared the stage with artists such as Georgie Fame, Saul Williams, Maria João & Mario Laginha, Hamburger Philharmoniker as well as renown German children singer-songwriter Rolf Zuckowski. He has toured on four continents and performed in venues ranging from caravans and containers to sold out opera and concert houses.
Malte’s experience involves acoustic measurement and design of noise control as well as interior acoustic treatment in a wide variety of spaces; with particular expertise in speech & performance as well as critical listening and AV.
